This ministry gives someone in need a tangible example of God’s love and care through a shawl that has been made with prayer. The ministry combines the love of knitting and crocheting into a prayer outreach to comfort those in need. This can include those experiencing illness, surgery, grief, stress, pain and depression. Our group meets and prayers are said while we make the shawls. A medal is attached to the completed shawl and it is then blessed by a priest.
